About this vintage design furniture
This set of 4 chairs was created by French Avant Garde designer Pierre Cardin for well-known interior design firm Maison Jansen, 1970's France.
Lounge on extravagant blue velvet, suspended across a sturdy, but artfully imagined structure made of heavy nickeled steel silver metal.
The sparse original structure feels like a piece of modern art, and the new luxurious upholstery allows the chairs to feel comfortable and usable, not out of place in a contemporary interior.
Every part of these decorative pieces is quality made—evident by the heaviness of the chairs—resulting in a timeless midcentury set.
All chairs are in great vintage condition.
