About this vintage design furniture
Modernist design by Pierre Paulin, the Pumpkin was designed by Paulin in the 70s to represent an organic interpretation to furniture. In line with many other Paulin designs, its inspiration is clearly derived from nature.
The pumpkin resembles a harmonious and fluid design, with 3 separate seats overflowing into each other. The pumpkin shape is clearly visible in the lines of the seat and backrest. The gradual increase in height from seat to back really gives this sofa a distinct design.
The Pumpkin features a bi-color fabric. This factory option was only offered from 2010 till 2011 and only rarely chosen. Ligne Roset doesn’t offer it anymore, so that makes this sofa a bit more special. The authenticity of this sofa was confirmed by Ligne Roset.
The sofa is upholstered around in anthracite Ebene fabric with white alcantara Ice for the seats/backrests. It provides for a very nice visual contrast.
All original labels on the backside of the sofa.
In very good and original condition.
