About this vintage design furniture
Kosta "Contour" Glass Vase by Vicke Lindstrand, 1950s.
Scandinavian hand blown art glass by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta (later Kosta Boda), Sweden.
This Swedish vase of the Contour Series is clear with a black underlay contour.
Signed at the bottom "LH 1239"
It comes with a small spherical glass vase with black and green curved stripes, not signed but presumably also Swedish.
Height of large vase: 22 cm.
Height of small vase: 6 cm.
Good vintage condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. The large vase has some unclarity, only few light scratches, please see photos.

Vicke LINDSTRAND
Vicke Lindstrand was a Swedish designer and artist born on June 17, 1904 in Malmö, Sweden, and died on October 7, 1983 in Kosta, Sweden. He is best known for his work as a glass designer for the Swedish company Orrefors.
