About this vintage design furniture
Niels Larsen Mobler was founded in København, Denmark in 1893 and initially made gymnasium equipment.
This elegant Danish chair, designed by Niels Larsen has unusual inverted T shaped legs in black painted metal (a chrome strip runs along the top surface of the feet). The seat and back is one piece of moulded bent plywood.
Size: width 44cm x depth 44cm x height 81cm x seat height 43cm
Condition:
Very good mid century condition. Minor signs of wear consistent with age use.

About the designer
Kofod LARSEN
Kofod Larsen was a Danish furniture designer born in 1921 and died in 1991. He began his career as an apprentice cabinetmaker and later studied at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts. He worked for several renowned design companies in Europe before founding his own design firm in 1950.
