Vintage modular Scandinavian teak bookcase, 1960

Mid-century Scandinavian modular bookcase, dating from the 1960s, made of teak veneer with solid teak details. Each removable upper section features three adjustable shelves (each 22 cm deep), with additional suspension devices for greater stabilization. The lower section features two sliding-door cabinets with open shelves between them. One of the cabinets is fitted with a pull-out shelf/tray. The set includes - 6 shelves 22 cm deep - two shelves 33 cm deep - two cupboards H: 39,5/W: 88/ D: 41 cm- Lower bracing: H:30/W: 2/D: 38,5 cm - Upper bracing H: 127 /W: 2/D: 22 cm The set has been checked by our team. We ensured that all doors functioned correctly. On several occasions, we had to sand down the most-used parts (if they were badly damaged). Here, we've only rejuvenated the wood with Danish oil. We leave small traces of use that don't spoil the aesthetics and only confirm the furniture's originality. Our aim is to restore the piece to its best condition, given its age of 60 years. An interesting part of furniture history This vintage piece after refreshment is in near-original condition, although it may show barely perceptible signs of use.
