About this vintage design furniture
Fabulous Adia adjustable platform bed designed by Paolo Piva for B and B Italia in the 1980s. The bed is made of cast steel and textured slate gray powder coated with brushed brass feet. The black leather headrests are adjustable, the two sections can be moved so that they can face each other. The bed has a rubber projector on the perimeter. Dimensions: the platform measures 204 x 204 x and from the ground H 33 cm, with backrest H 95 cm. The entire bed with the backrest measures cm: 204 P x 235 W.

About the designer
Paolo PIVA
Paolo Piva was born in 1950 in Adria, a small town in northern Italy. He studied architecture at the University of Venice and began his career as an interior designer. In the 1970s, he began working for B&B Italia, where he created innovative, modern furniture that soon attracted worldwide attention.
