Vintage blond oakwood low storage unit with castors, 1960

Mid-century, circa 1960s vintage chest of drawers. The piece is solid wood with a beautiful golden oak veneer finish. There is black formica trim at the bottom of the front (see photo). The unit rests on functional multi-directional castors. The front has four functional drawers with original black bakelite handles. The drawers are clean, with a few light marks of previous use on the inside (see photo). The inside of the drawers has inserts that could, if someone wishes to add dividers (see photos). The piece is in very good overall original and vintage condition. Old marks or old repair on top (see photos next to the 1 centime coin for perspective). Slight marks and signs of previous use and time on the general structure, drawers and drawer interiors. A small veneer chip at the base of the left side panel (see photo). Patina of age and time as well. The piece is solid and stable. Drawer dimensions: W: 43.5 cm X D: 37.5 cm X H: 10.5 cm. Photos taken outdoors in natural light.
