PERIOD: 2000..DESCRIPTION: Rocking chair "Thomas Pedersen" design "Stingray" model for "Fredericia" ( Very large dimensions )..MATERIAL: Metal / Molded plastic..DIMENSIONS: Height: 45 cm seat and 75 cm back / Width: 130 cm / Length: 110 cm...CONDITION: Good condition except for a few slight traces of wear ( non-disturbing crack on a screw ).

About the designer
Aage PEDERSEN
Aage Pedersen was a Danish designer born in 1906 and died in 1983. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before beginning his career as an industrial designer in the 1930s. He worked for several Danish companies, including the Danish furniture company Fritz Hansen, where he designed many popular pieces of furniture in the 1950s and 1960s.
