About this vintage design furniture
Rare low-back armchair by Brazilian designer Jean Gillon.
Tan leather on a frame of dark brazilian mahogany.
Slung suede leather supports the comfortable cushion in typical brazilian style.
Pegged construction makes it easy to dismantle for economic long distance shipping.
Some light cat scratches underneath the front part of the cushion.
The wood is in very good condition.
Slight wear underneath cushion.
Completely original.
Manufacturers stamp on lower frame.

Jean GILLON
Jean Gillon was a Brazilian designer and architect born on May 1, 1919 in Bucharest, Romania, and died on November 17, 2007 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is best known for his furniture designs, which combine Brazilian and European elements.
