About this vintage design furniture
Mid-Century Modern period set of 2 Rudi Verelst for Novalux, Belgium, 1974.
The 'Delta' armchairs, chromed metal, lacquered wood and leather two colour fabric.
The model consists of a chromed metal frame with a pyramid-shaped base. The seat and backrest are in original upholstery in red and black leather fabrics. These are supported by a structure of several linear metal lines.
The armrests are executed in black lacquered wood.
Over all the chairs are in great condition.

Rudi Verelst is a Belgian designer born in 1952 in Wilrijk. He studied industrial design at the Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten van Antwerpen (Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Antwerp), graduating in 1975.
