About this vintage design furniture

Vintage Danish Oak Sewing Table by Johannes Andersen, 1960s. Elegant and versatile small table with drawer and wicker basket designed by Danish architect Johannes Andersen for CFC Silkeborg, Denmark in the 1960s. The drawer features several trays, bobbin holders and a pin cushion. Tabletop has an extension leaf which extends the table to a length of 92 centimeters. Simply lift the leaf and slide the top to the left. Back in the 1960s sewing tables were often referred to as "Mothers table", but nowadays it is everybody's table due to its versatility. Often seen used as side tables, lamp tables, small coffee tables and bedside tables/nightstands. Very good vintage condition with minimal signs of use. Faint watermark on top and small cracks in the veneer on the side, please see photos. Cleaned and treated with Gilboy's wax. Ready for use. Reference : 284256
