Unique armchair manufactured by UP Závody, home to famous Czech architect Jindřich Halabala, in late 40s / early 50s. Design attributed to Jan Vaněk. Wooden structure in good original condition, reupholstered.

About the designer
Jan VANEK
Jan Vanek was a Czech industrial designer born in Prague in 1940 and died in 2011. He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, graduating in 1964.
