About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful Scandinavian mid-century modern glass and brass ceiling light/pendant designed by Carl Fagerlund for Swedish Orrefors and Danish Lyfa (1960s). Thick, clear and heavy cylindrical glass shade (4.5 kg) made by Orrefors. Brass elements by Lyfa. The textured glass shade reflects a wonderful light (see pictures).
Cleaned, re-wired and ready to use (compatible in all countries Europe, UK, US, etc.). Requires one E27 light bulb. Total height (from ceiling): 53 cm (25 cm the glass itself); Ø (glass): 18 cm. Very good vintage condition, no chips or cracks.

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
