Rare Cocoon pendant lamp by Goldkant Leuchten. Described as a design by Friedel Wauer. Characteristic of this lamp are its spherical and rounded shapes. The steel construction of the wire frame allows the lamp to present itself in the interior space above our heads. Additionally, the shapes emanate a warm and diffused light bringing a relaxing atmosphere to the interior. Goldkant Leuchten The company was founded just after World War II in 1946. The first name of the company was Cocoon-Leuchten International. Goldkant Leuchten also produced ceramic lamps. Cocoon lamp designers: Shultz , Baum . The company ceased operations in 1994.
