Der französische Designer Olivier Mourgue entwarf diesen ikonischen Sessel 1968.
Mourgue erlangte Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts Bekanntheit durch seine innovativen und futuristischen Designs. Insbesondere der Djinn Chair, der ein wichtiger Bestandteil der Requisite in Stanley Kubricks legendären Film 2001:Odysee ins Weltall, sorgte international für Aufsehen.
