About this vintage design furniture
135 Boomerang chair designed by Hvidt & Nielsen in the 1950s for France & Son. With it’s armrests set at that angle it makes a good reading chair. The cushions are upholstered with fabric by Kvadrat. This fabric is the same colour as the original offered by France & Son in the 50’s. In good condition.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
