Vintage office chair by De Coene for Knoll, 1950

Designed for Knoll by Paul Vandenbulcke and Fred Sandra, this office chair is a true icon of excellence of the De Coene productions, which were widely honored at the 1958 Brussels World Fair. Already offering all the modern qualities in terms of seating comfort and ergonomics, its minimalist design and organic materials make it a timeless piece of furniture that can be integrated into any tasteful interior. It features a height adjustable seat and a tiltable backrest, both upholstered in aniline leather (smooth and soft leather) in a bottle green color. Its 4-branch base in curved wood is mounted on casters finished in gilded brass. Not betraying Knoll's high quality standards, this example of the "N370" model has survived 7 decades in pristine condition.
