Vintage armchair with footrest Pernilla in curved beech plywood by Bruno Mathsson for Dux, Sweden 1960

This extremely comfortable lounge set: armchair and footstool, by Bruno Mathsson, made by Dux, is an improved version of Pernilla from the 1960s (the original version is from 1944). The chair features a minimalistic and organic design with a curved seat and backrest in combination with a practical footstool providing comfort and support. Both are made of curved beech plywood, canvas, and new natural cotton braided upholstery in beige, orange, and brown hues. Original Dux liner preserved. Overall, the Perilla chair is a beautiful and functional piece of furniture that embodies the Danish design philosophy of simplicity, functionality, and quality.
