About this vintage design furniture

Simple yet elegant mid-century teak wall unit designed by Preben Sorensen in the 1960s and manufactured in Denmark. The original label of the manufacturer is preserved. This modular shelving system is a pretty composition of desks, shelves, and two practical cabinets for storage. The set consists of - 2 shelves 20 cm deep - cabinet with sliding doors with a compartment H: 49 / W: 80 / D: 45 cm - cabinet with sliding doors with two shelves H: 50 / W: 80 / D: 20 cm - desk shelf 45 cm deep - expository shelf for magazines - 3 teak rails 194 cm long - brass hardware Fantastic vintage condition with minor traces of use, coated with additional layers of Danish Oil. About the designer

Henning SORENSEN

Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
