Vintage Danish Teak Modular Wall Unit by HG Furniture 1960s. Scandinavian modern 3-bay shelving system by Danish architects Rud Thygesen og Johnny Sørensen manufactured by HG Furniture (Hansen and Guldborg) Denmark. This system is modular so cabinets and shelves can be placed as desired. Very light visual impression, but ample storage space. Beautiful teak veneer with expressive grain pattern in warm and rich golden brown. Interior lined with light oak veneer. Excellent craftsmanship and quality, built to last for generations. Great details as dovetail joints and signature "Eyelid" pulls in solid teak. This system came on the market a bit later than Poul Cadovius and Kai Kristiansen, but the quality is at least comparable to the others.
