About this vintage design furniture

Sideboard model LK94 made by Maarten Van Severen in his own studio in Ghent. This postmodern sideboard has a very minimalist look with the sleek anodized aluminum. "With his furniture creations, the Belgian designer Maarten Van Severen has created a consistent and exceptional oeuvre over twenty years, which is internationally acclaimed for his clear lines. He has worked for important companies in Belgium and Europe. His design is based on a pursuit of a crystal-clear concept, combined with attention to the technical and tactile aspects of the material used. His work possesses a powerful modesty, far from garish, exuberant forms. In addition to his furniture designs, Maarten Van Severen has always had a passion for architecture, which resulted in a collaboration with Rem Koolhaas / OMA for homes in Paris and Bordeaux, a library in Seattle and a concert hall in Porto, among others." reference: designmuseumgent.be Reference : 274175
