He began his career designing pieces for private clients and furniture companies in the Brianza region of Italy in the 1960s.He taught architectural composition at the Athénée de Lausanne in Switzerland during the years 1970-1974.As an industrial designer, Faleschini became interested in creating furniture for listed buildings, especially historic buildings. He is considered one of the intellectuals of Italian industrial design in the 1960s and is one of the key figures of Italian design.
