About this vintage design furniture

Mid-century ice Murano glass chandelier Mazzega by Toni Zuccheri was made in Italy in the 1970s. Although the lamp is not signed, we are sure of the heritage: the form and the used materials, from blown Murano glass and chrome, are typical for Mazzega. AV Mazzega was founded in 1946 by Angelo Vittorio Mazzega. Mazzega and has worked with many internationally renowned designers such as De Lucchi, Piva, Zuccheri over the years. Best known is Carlo Nason who grew up in one of the oldest families of Murano glass manufacturers. The glass parts are made of blown-thick Murano glass that has amazing colors. The lamp requires 3 x E14 light bulbs (not included). Suitable for all countries in the world. Very good vintage condition. The chandelier weighs 9 kg. The metal has a nature patina. About the designer

Toni ZUCCHERI

Aldo Zuccheri was an Italian designer who was born in Milan in 1928 and died in 2009. He is best known for his work in the 1960s for the famous Italian glass brand Venini, where he created many innovative, sculptural glass objects that were shown at international exhibitions.
