Rare bedside lamp or wall lamp KANDEM, model n 702 e from 1928-29. Design by Marianne BRANDT and Hin BREDENDIECK. Innovative and functional design, a wonderful timeless creation. One of the few examples on sale. One of the most representative works of the Bauhaus. Restored copy. In working order. Completely complete. Certified original edition. Double joint on the reflector allows a reading light or a dimmed night light. Reflector in ivory lacquered steel sheet. Double articulation, arm and foot painted ivory lacquer. Foot with metal plate with insert for wall mounting. Lampholder E27 with Kandem mark and bakelite finish with Kandem logo. Very good condition. Note that it is rare to find this model with a bakelite finish marked with the Kandem logo. We are specialized since 30 years in Bauhaus lamps, moreover we organized an exhibition for the 100 years of the Bauhaus on the lamps of the Bauhaus and published a catalog for this occasion.
