About this vintage design furniture

A pair of rare "model 6245" lounge chairs in afromosia by Ib Kofod Larsen for G-Plan. In the 1960s G-Plan hired Ib Kofod Larsen to create their high-end Danish Range of furniture. The quality of his "6245" chair puts this design in line with his finest works. The curved backrests and sculpted arms are particularly striking. Gracefully steam-bent frames simplify the design. The buttoned cushion covers are made from strong beige linen. The fabric has no tears or stains and is also in very good vintage condition. The arms and frames have been restored and re-oiled, bringing the teak back to a dark treacle colour. Reference : 268956
