About this vintage design furniture
An important pair of sculpture lamps designed by Georges Mathias in the 1970s. These lamps feature a brass base with a metal geometric tube formation on top.
Both lamps are signed on the back. Beautiful light emission thanks to the sculptural forms in the metal tubes.
In good condition, ready to use. The metal is patinated.

About the designer
MATHIAS
Georges Mathias is a French designer born in 1946. He graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris in 1971. He has worked for many companies, including Philips, Toshiba, Sony, Renault, Hermès and Louis Vuitton.
