Vintage Art Deco brass and glass table mirror by La Maison Desny, 1930

This magnificent courtesy mirror in brass and thick opaline black glass is signed by the House of Desny and dates from the early 1930s. It rests on a silver metal base stamped Desny Paris, Made in France and Registered. An ideal mirror for a bedroom, dressing room or bathroom, transforming a table into a dressing table. It is really heavy, and of a superb quality of manufacture, the reputation of La Maison Desny being no more to make. The brass has been completely cleaned, and this mirror is in a superb vintage condition. A very nice Art Deco piece, a collector's item, with a rare decorative presence. Reference : 267878
