About this vintage design furniture

Fascinating coffee table created in the 80s by the Dutch painter and sculptor Paul Kingma for the German label Pefa (Peter Fassbinder and Co.). It presents a double board made of slate from India and inserts of brass and copper elements (such as the pair of British coins, one with the effigy of Edward VII and the other with that of Elizabeth II, a very young woman), all arranged by hand without limits to the artist's imagination and compositional possibilities, therefore no piece is the same as the other, becoming small works of art.
