About this vintage design furniture
Thonet conference chair in faux leather 50'sThe editor Thonet leaves us here a super original chair that was designed to last! Its design reminds us of Saarinen's productions for Knoll, a style inspired by the Bauhaus, in transition to the 50's/60's. This chair shows many small traces of use, but its charm still operates. It is quite functional and comfortable. The burgundy leatherette is certainly worn in places, but it is so sturdy that it is still ready to go through the next 50 years. The chromed metal base is quite well preserved and still shiny. The chair is quite heavy and quite stable despite the worn out glides. In an office, a living room or at the end of a table, this chair will fit perfectly in a contemporary decoration or an interior that likes authentic and antique objects. It is labeled by the manufacturer below. Dimensions:Seat height 48cmBack height 81cmArm height 62cmTotal width 62cmDepth 55cm
