About this vintage design furniture
A set of 4 'Tulu' dining chairs, designed in 1968 by Kazuhide Takahama for Gavina, Italy.The chairs consist of a chrome-plated tubular steel frame and a black leather back and seating area.On the bottom of the seating area, you can see the elastics tightening the leather.The chairs are easily stackable.They remain in very good original vintage condition.

About the designer
Kazuhide TAKAHAMA
Kazuhide Takahama was a Japanese designer who was born in Tokyo in 1930 and died in 2010. He studied architecture at Tokyo University before working for his father's design company, Takahama Industry Corporation. In 1955, he moved to Milan, where he began working for the Italian design firm Gavina.
