About this vintage design furniture
This mid-century pair of nightstands was designed by František Jirák and produced in Czechoslovakia by Zapadoslovenske Nabytkarske Zavody in the 1960s.
The bedside tables have been completely restored, varnished in a satin finish. Original, patterned formica on tops preserved in very good condition, with visible minor scratches.

Frantisek JIRAK
František Jiránek (1898-1978) was a Czech designer who worked in the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for his work in furniture design, but also designed objects in glass and ceramics.
