Vianne for Suberville, circa 1945 Large pink glass lamp with stripes and floral frieze design, acid-etched. Brass base and high lampshade. Brass mounting: base, joke, attachment on the top of the lampshade. The lampshade is also in glass paste, decorated with a braid with pink, white and red pearl pendants. It is signed "Vianne pour Suberville" on its border. Two bulbs in the lampshade, screw sockets for E14 bulbs. Functional and clean electrification. The lamp gives a beautiful warm pink light when lit. This lamp is a rare edition of the Vianne glassware, typical of the art deco style of the time. Its large size gives it a crazy look, its body worked in glass paste as well as the row of pendants adorning its lampshade sends in its environment beautiful shadows with shimmering colors.
