About this vintage design furniture
A 'Shogun Terra' floor lamp designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta in 1986 for Artemide. Two perforated shades allow you to control the distribution of light and avoid being blinded by the light. The metal stem is lacquered in white with black stripes. The black base is made of cast steel. In pre-modern Japan, the shogun was the supreme military leader of Japan. The design refers to the traditional outfit of a Shogun. This lamp remains in an almost flawless original vintage condition.
