Vintage brass wall lamp by Sven Aage Holm Sørensen, Denmark 1960s
Belgium

About this vintage design furniture
Designed in Denmark in the 1960's, this floral sconce with a decidedly brutalist style reflects the freedom of expression of its designer, Holm Sorensen. From its prosaic design in raw brass treated with acid and then cut with a blowtorch comes a light and graceful organic wall lamp. A real light sculpture, definitely timeless. Despite the lack of information about the designer himself, many of Svend Aage Holm Sørensen's works feed a large market for his modernist and brutalist creations, which are highly sought after worldwide.
