About this vintage design furniture
Crystal vase and bowl from the "Stella Polaris" series designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Orrefors (Sweden, 1970s). The vase and bowl are made of thick and heavy icy/aqua/clear glass. Simple, minimalist Scandinavian design. Very effective and decorative items. Both etched on bottom "Orrefors".
Bowl: height: 6 cm; diameter: 16 cm; weight: 1.2 kg
Vase: height: 17.5 cm; diameter (largest point): 10 cm; weight: 1.2 kg
Very good vintage condition. Light wear consistent with age and use (usual scratches).
The price is for the whole set (vase and bowl).

Vicke LINDSTRAND
Vicke Lindstrand was a Swedish designer and artist born on June 17, 1904 in Malmö, Sweden, and died on October 7, 1983 in Kosta, Sweden. He is best known for his work as a glass designer for the Swedish company Orrefors.
