About this vintage design furniture

Bespoke pine dining table by Ate van Apeldoorn for Houtwerk Hattem. This has likely been a bespoke product made by Ate van Apeldoorn, as this model can’t be traced back in the standard literature. However, this is very well possible since Van Apeldoorn did a lot of custom work out of his workshop. The table does bear the original signature by Van Apeldoorn; the overlapping wood connection on the feet. Instead of a beam placed below between the feet, the beam has been moved upwards, likely because of a special client request. The thick pine plate sticks out a bit and has rounded edges. Furthermore, the wood top has been polished. The table is in excellent condition. Reference : 247032
