About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful pair of solid teak lounge chairs designed by Grete Jalk in the mid 50’s for France & Son, Denmark.
These are early production chairs and the most desirable in our opinion.
Each chair is offered in excellent condition. The foam cushions have been upholstered in contrasting grey Kvadrat fabric of the highest quality. This contrasting colourway is sympathetic to the upholstery options available from France & Son during the late 50’s and looks wonderful on this design.
Each chair features the France & Son makers badge to the inside frame.
A very handsome and graceful design that typifies the very best of Danish Modern furniture.
