About this vintage design furniture

Beautiful large mid-century modern Murano sommerso glass ashtray/small bowl designed by Flavio Poli (Italy, 1960s). Made of thick dark blue, blue and clear Murano glass. Can be used as as an ashtray, small bowl or as a vide poche/catch-all. Original label still readable (can be removed very easily if needed). Width: 14.5 cm; depth: 13.5 cm; height: 6 cm. Excellent vintage condition. ''Sommerso'' is a technique developed in Murano in the 1930s which became very popular in the 1950s/60s.
