About this vintage design furniture

The bookcase was made in the 1960s, designed by Danish design icon Kai Winding. The structure is covered with rosewood veneer. Legs made of solid wood stained black. Surface after refreshing. Inside, the space has been filled with twelve practical height-adjustable shelves. The bookcase is the ideal solution for a collection of books to manage in a small living space. Key included. Condition: The surface of the furniture has been refreshed. Minor scratches, dings and filled veneer losses are visible. Larger signs of use are always shown in the photos. Product ready to use. *For safety reasons, the furniture may have its legs unscrewed and shelves removed for transportation. Assembly should not be a problem. If in doubt, please contact us and we will send you an instructional video. The bookcase should also be fixed to the wall with quick-mounting pins. About the designer

Kaj WINDING

Kaj Winding was a Danish designer who was born in 1926 and died in 1965 at the age of 39. He began his industrial design career working for Danish companies Verner Panton and Arne Jacobsen. In 1958, he co-founded Design-Craftsmen, which produced modern furniture for Danish and Scandinavian interiors.
