About this vintage design furniture
Very rare Snebold lamp (larger version of the Peanut lamp) by Benta Karlby. Designed in 1956 and produced by the Danish Lyfa.
The lamp was produced in small quantities and is hardly available on the aftermarket.
The lamp is in good condition for its age, has natural patina marks and small discolorations on the glass.
Dimensions:
diameter 31cm
height 50cm
The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has a new approx. 2-meter cable. Additionally, the headlining is attached to the lamp.
Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.

About the designer
Bent KARLBY
Bent Karlby (1912-1998) was a Danish designer renowned for his contributions to the lighting industry. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he developed his minimalist, functional style.
