About this vintage design furniture
Straight-lined armchairs by Hugues Steiner, version "Bow Wood" from the 1940s. Beautifully curved bentwood frame, solid ash. The armchairs have been reupholstered and newly covered with a high quality black mottled upholstery fabric in petrol blue. Good condition with small traces of usage.

About the designer
Hugues STEINER
1926 - 1991Hugues Steiner was a French designer born in Mulhouse in 1933 and died in Paris in 2014. He studied at the Strasbourg School of Applied Arts, then worked as a graphic designer and art director in several advertising agencies in France and Switzerland.
