About this vintage design furniture
A copper lamp consisting of four lampshades. The outer lenses are tinted yellow to ensure a warm reflection of the light. The small lampshade that hides the bulb holder has a dark gray coating to soften the light downwards. When lit, the lamp is soft and does not glare downwards, making it ideal for low-hanging, and the glossy surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space. One of the few themes that ran through Jo Hammerborg’s work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often manufactured from three different metals - copper, brass, and aluminum. The lamp is in good condition, with natural signs of use in the form of patina, minor scratches, and bruises. Rarely found in copper. Dimensions: diameter: 41cm height: 18cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has a new approx. 2-meter cable. Additionally, a canopy is attached to the lamp. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
