Pair of 1950s sconces designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld in 1952 for Peill and PutzlerDüren.Model Majora 26850103 in the smallest version height 37.3 cm.Clear glass (frosted interior, frosted stripes with cut lines) on metal frame.Very good condition, slight traces of age and wear.Lamps require two E27 bulbs. Wilhelm Wagenfeld was a German industrial designer who was born on April 15, 1900 in Bremen and died on May 28, 1990 in Stuttgart. He is best known for his collaborations with the Jenaer Glaswerk Schott & Genossen glassworks and for his functional, minimalist design.
