About this vintage design furniture
A pair of Drabert lounge chairs in a black leather with black seat shells. The condition of the chairs is excellent, the seat shells and the soft leather of the seat and back cushions are in very good condition. The curved chrome frame is flawless on both chairs. Gerd Lange designed this lounge chair in the 1970s for the German manufacturer Drabert in a clear, very dynamic design. Gerd Lange also designed the SM 400 chair for Drabert, which is now on display at the Guggenheim Museum. Drabert was one of the most important office furniture manufacturers of the 60s and 70s, producing the highest quality office furniture.

About the designer
Gerd LANGE
Gerd Lange is a German industrial designer born in Munich on May 15, 1931. He is best known for his work designing furniture for the German furniture company Hülsta.
