Features: – Kerman carpet – Hand knotted – approx. 160.000 knots per m2 – Age 50-60 years – 100 virgin wool – Made in Persia, Iran Good condition with slight traces of use. All of our carpets are cleaned in a professional carpet laundry. The first step in cleaning is to tap the carpet thoroughly to remove dust and any mites. The subsequent prewash with a pH-neutral soap removes stains. For the main wash, the carpets are thoroughly washed by hand – a special soap protects the fibers and preserves the natural wool fat of the carpets. The first dewatering takes place by mechanical pressing and spinning, so that the carpets are then dried in a constant air circulation.
