About this vintage design furniture
Scandinavian suspension lamp of the Finnish designer yki nummi dating from the 60s. Created in 1959, this innovative suspension for the time is composed of a double lampshade in polymethacrylate and brass. Like other models designed by nummi, it offers a very soft luminosity and representative of the Finnish way of life. Nice condition despite some marks on the lampshade.

Yki NUMMI
Yki Nummi was a Finnish designer who was born in 1925 and died in 2011. He began his career as an industrial designer for a glass products company, before moving into lighting design in the 1950s.
