About this vintage design furniture
This bookcase was made in the 1970s and designed by the great Danish designer Kai Winding.The structure is covered with rosewood veneer. The legs are made of solid wood stained black. Surface after renovation. The interior space has been filled with twelve practical shelves with height adjustment. This bookcase is an ideal solution for storing a collection of books in a small living space. In addition, it will serve well as a bookcase for collectibles. The cabinet has five holes in the back panel for cables. Key included.Condition: The surface of the cabinet after a refresh. Minor scratches, marks and filled veneer losses are visible. More signs of use are still visible in photos. The product is ready to be used. For safety reasons, the furniture legs can be unscrewed and the shelves removed for transport. About the designer
Kaj WINDING
Kaj Winding was a Danish designer who was born in 1926 and died in 1965 at the age of 39. He began his industrial design career working for Danish companies Verner Panton and Arne Jacobsen. In 1958, he co-founded Design-Craftsmen, which produced modern furniture for Danish and Scandinavian interiors.
