About this vintage design furniture

The sideboard model Ulvö was designed in the 1960s by Erik Wörtz for Ikea. This sideboard was produced in Poland by Czerska Fabryka Mebli, most probably for the Polish market. In the 1960s, Ikea moved some of its production to Polish factories that produced very high-quality furniture, but the cost of its production was much lower than in Sweden or other Western European countries. This furniture has a top, sides and front venered in teak. The legs of the chest of drawers are made of solid oak wood. The sideboard has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish.
