About this vintage design furniture
Console in oak wood with brass structure, originally used to contain a Singer sewing machine. It’s designed by Gio Ponti who collaborated with the italian manufacturer. Now it can be used as a console, it has two drawers and plane that can be opened. The style of Giò Ponti it’s easily recognizable.

About the designer
Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
