Set of 6 vintage S320 stacking chairs by Ulrich Böhme and Wulf Schneider for Thonet, 1984
About this vintage design furniture
Set of six classic Thonet chairs, designed in the 1980s and developed by Ulrich Böhme and Wulf Schneider in 1984 for Thonet. Shapely, timeless design made of bent beech plywood and connected to a round steel frame. The S 320 is stackable, very robust and very comfortable thanks to the shaped, ergonomic seat shell. Mainly used in public spaces, they can also cut an extraordinarily good figure in the private sphere as a dining room chair, desk chair or side chair. Each armchair has a Thonet sticker under the seat shell. All chairs are in good, used condition with slight signs of age on the seat, see illustration. Seat height 46 cm, width 46.5 cm, depth 40 cm
